KELIFIT
Privacy policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This is a courtesy translation. The French version is the legally binding one.
KELIFIT processes personal data for one reason only: to run the app you use. This page explains which data, why, for how long, who sees it, and how to get it back or delete it.
Data controller
Yacine Khelifi, Paris. Contact: kelifitapp@gmail.com.
Data processed
- Account: email address (sign-in with a one-time code, no password) and app language. With “Sign in with Apple”: the identifier provided by Apple, your name if you choose to share it, and a technical token kept only to revoke the sign-in when the account is deleted.
- Profile: sex, age, weight, height, activity level, goal, workouts per week, display preferences.
- Training: workout templates, completed workouts (exercises, weights, reps, duration, perceived effort), weekly plan, activities other than strength training (type, duration, intensity).
- Nutrition: food log entries, recipes, meal plan, grocery list, meal photos sent for analysis. For a recipe import: the page address and, for a TikTok or Instagram post, its caption.
- Body: weigh-ins, measurements and, if you add them, progress photos.
- Apple Health, only if you allow it: reading your steps, active energy and weight; writing your weigh-ins. This data is used for your goals and summaries. It is never used for advertising, sold, or shared with any third party other than our hosting provider, in line with Apple’s rules.
- Koach: your questions and the answers, plus a summary of your data for the day sent to the analysis service to produce the answer.
- Technical: crash reports, purchase identifier and subscription status, daily usage counters for the analysis features. Home-screen widgets read a copy of your daily figures stored on your iPhone only.
Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service (showing your data, calculating your goals, running the Koach) is based on the contract between us. Local notifications are based on your consent, which you can change in your iPhone settings. Crash reports are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working. No data is used for advertising and none is sold.
Processors
- Hosting and database: Supabase, in the European Union (Ireland, AWS eu-west-1). Your data does not leave the EU for storage.
- Meal photo analysis, recipe import and the Koach: Anthropic (Claude model), United States; the transfer is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, and the data sent is not used to train its models. Photos, pages and summaries sent are used only to produce the answer.
- Subscriptions: Apple (App Store) for payment, and RevenueCat for purchase verification. RevenueCat receives an account identifier and your purchase history, never your training or nutrition data. Apple does not share your payment details with us.
- Crash reports: Sentry, hosted in the European Union. A report contains the technical state of the app at the time of the fault and an account identifier, without the content of your logs.
- Product data: Open Food Facts (search queries and barcodes, without any personal identifier).
- TikTok import: one request to TikTok to read the video’s caption and thumbnail, without any personal identifier.
Retention period
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. Deleting your account, available in Settings, Account, erases all your data as soon as possible, technical backups included within thirty days. Crash reports are kept for ninety days.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection: a full export of your data is available in Settings, Backup, and deletion in Settings, Account. For any other request, write to kelifitapp@gmail.com. You can contact the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority, if you believe your rights are not being respected.
